History

Built in the mid 50's, Crest Royal continues to be owned by the family of the original builder. History tells us that at one time, on this site, there was a huge house that served as an an AT&T switchboard and then a boarding house. This same family owns 1330 Jones Street and 1000 Green Street. The original builder also built many of the schools and homes in San Francisco and Burlingame.

If you are from NY and used to doorman living, this building is perfect. The staff is amazingly service-oriented and you always feel safe. Only downside is no A/C but that's a San Francisco issue.
