PowerCET Corporate Overview Since its founding in 1986, PowerCET Corporation has focused on improving the productivity and reliability of electronic systems through consulting, education and training programs for client companies. PowerCET stresses an understanding of the electromagnetic environment, the effects of adverse power quality, and the means to identify and correct sources of interference. Bruce Lonie and Tom Shaughnessy, co-founders of PowerCET Corporation, have extensive experience in the investigation and diagnosis of complex electrical environment problems. Dr. Michael F. Stringfellow, Ph.D., P.E., joined PowerCET Corporation as Chief Scientist in July 1994. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of lightning, lightning protection, general power quality, failure analysis and forensic investigations. Dr. Stringfellow manages the PowerCET facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Services include facility audits and investigations directed at power quality and electromagnetic interference problems. Additional services include lightning risk analysis, facility hardening against the effects of lightning, and facility-wide evaluation of transient protection systems. Fortune 100 clients include major health facilities, financial institutions, semi-conductor fabrication facilities, data-network and telecommunications installations, and electrical utilities. Forensic consulting services include root-cause analysis, stray voltage investigations and product reliability evaluations.
