The Coronado Yacht club is a respected gathering of yachting enthusiasts with foundations dating back to 1913. Located in scenic Glorietta Bay, this private club has almost 900 members. They enjoy an array of services and events, including social programs, regattas, an affiliated sport fishing club and racing events. There are 270 slips available for member vessels, with direct access to the water, nearby San Diego Bay and the open waters of the Pacific Ocean. After a day at sea, yachters can gather for refreshments in the bar.
Private events are hosted here and may be made available to non-members based on the nature of the function and member schedules. Other highlights are the club's Juniors Sailing Program, scheduled dinners, guest pass options and the club publication Whisker Pole. A board of directors and staff are in place to ensure a positive member experience and a sense of community based on the love of yachting.
