Credited as one of the largest members of the Commercial Fueling Network, Nella Oil owns and operates Flyers and Olympian retail convenience stores, as well as Java City Espresso Bars. The family-owned company is also a branded distributor of Mobil, Exxon, Chevron and Shell fuels for both wholesale and retail customers throughout northern and central California. The company also operates a chain of cardlock fuel sites and a fleet for fuel transports, Gulf Transportation, which supplies independent dealers, jobbers and other commercial end users. Nella also has approximately 12 stations that use photovoltaic panels to turn sunshine into solar powered electricity, creating its own Green Power that reduces the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere and helps to reduce dependency on foreign fossil fuels.
