Charles McMurray Company's main warehouse is located in Fresno, Calif., with a branch warehouse in Sacramento. The company was started in 1946 by Charles McMurray who was a traveling salesman for Washington Hardware. The first warehouse was an old chicken coop located at the back of the property. This was expanded by erecting a metal building over the chicken coop. The company is privately owned and employs nearly 50 people.
