History
I started Compassionate Veterinary Care in 2011 to provide quality care to livestock and quality end-of-life services to pets.
Specialties
Dr Clark treats goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, cattle, and pigs. In addition to emergencies, Dr Clark provides maintenance care, treats medical conditions and fertility disorders, and performs on-farm surgery. Dr Clark offers acupuncture for dogs, cats, and backyard pets, and will come to your house for low-stress pet euthanasia. For farm animals - when they get sick, their gut stops working. Once this happens, it becomes much harder to fix problems - so call EARLY on if there's something wrong. It will save you a lot of money and time. For pets, acupuncture is amazing at treating chronic conditions like arthritis, allergies, and skin problems. Treatment often offers rapid relief. Dr Clark is available for routine ranch calls every day and for *farm animal* emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No horses. Dr Clark travels roughly an hour away from Placerville to see patients. Areas include Cool, Georgetown, Somerset, Folsom, Cameron Park, and Pollock Pines.
