Coastside Farmer's Market has been a Saturday tradition in Half Moon Bay since 2002. From May through December you will find 30 to 40 vendors showcasing the farm-fresh produce, wild salmon, artisanal goat cheeses, regional honey, flowers, local art and live music.
Most of vendors come from within the county – some of them from farms within walking distance of the market – and are chosen because they are self-sustaining, farmer run farms. It is the goal of the market organizers to champion small farms along the coast and local fishermen from Half Moon Bay harbor.
Although the focus is on the fresh produce, there is also a nice selection of prepared foods and bakery items, perfect for a light lunch while shopping and listening to the local musicians perform.
