HistoryDolan & Knight Property Management Inc. was formed in 1979 by Mark T. Dolan, CPM and Gilbert C. Knight, CPM. The company was formed with the mission of providing excellent professional property management services to real estate investors in the greater Los Angeles area. In 1989 Mark purchased Gilbert's share of the firm and continued on with the management business specializing in residential properties. Mark has since been joined by his sons Erin, a CPA, and Anthony, who has a real estate degree from San Diego State University.SpecialtiesAt Dolan & Knight we understand that each property under our management is unique and we take pride in being flexible to meet the investor's needs as well as the tenants we serve. We have the capability to manage any size property or portfolio. We manage several properties with on-site staff that are capable of handling the daily maintenance issues as well as dealing with tenants needs. We also offer 24 hour maintenance service with our in-house maintenance staff. We also manage individual homes and condo units, however we do not manage condominium HOA's. According to the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) the average management contract in this country is approximately 17 months. Many of our clients have been with us for over 30 years.
