DJ Howie Pyro (Danzig, D Generation, Joey Ramone) and music producer/engineer DJ Jells Mayhem (KISS, Kool Keith, Nebula), a.k.a The Illuminoids, have started a weekly dance party to begin on July 24th, in the bizarre futuristic Brand Lounge in Glendale. Having first gotten noticed for their wild brand of remixes and mashup's being played on LA radio station Indie 103.1, as well as radio shows around the world, they have mashed and remixed everything from the Monkees to White Zombie to the Beatles, MIA and Justice. Their fans & co conspirators include Davey Havok (AFI/ Blaqk Audio), CSS, L7, The Trucks, to name a few. Their mixes have been praised in such magazines as Spin & FHM. The Illumination Radio internet show, has become quite influential & has a legion of dedicated fans worldwide. The Illuminoids are consistently on top ten & best of lists all over the world. They have gained high praise for their a spooky live/DJ shows and have become fan favorites at various clubs.
