The City of Roseville was incorporated in 1909, which grew from a railroad town. Today, the city is home to approximately 115,000 residents. The city operates on a manager-council form of government with a five-member elected city council.
The city council meets at 7pm the first and third Wednesdays of the month in the council chambers, located at the Roseville Civic Center. On the city's website are live streaming of the council meetings and agendas for council, commission and committee meetings.
The Roseville Civic Center not only houses the council chambers, but also the city clerk and city manager offices. Residents can request business licenses, file papers and get information regarding the City of Roseville.
Parking for the Roseville Civic Center is available on-street or in a free public parking garage located at Washington Blvd and Oak St. On-street parking is available for two hours 8am - 6pm except Sun. There is no parking on-street Tues, 3pm - 10pm.
