History
The CIT College was established in 1999. CIT is now established as an advanced technology and health allied education center specializing in the IT, Medical, Dental and Nursing industries. Initially, CIT offered IT coursework to gain IT Certification. 2003, Management made the historic decision to add an array of health allied programs to its already substantial curriculum. During this process, CIT discovered that an overwhelming number of bilingual and primarily Spanish speaking individuals were seeking training in this area but were unable to find it. CIT then stepped up and gained credentials to train these individuals in their native language. 2004, CIT became accredited by ACCSC and got approved by the Department of Education for the Title IV funding. In 2009, CIT College changed its name to CIT College of InfoMedical Technology. 2009, opened a branch campus in the city of Los Angeles.
