The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a Roman Catholic church, was first established in 1926 as a mission of St. Charles Parish of San Carlos by being separated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Redwood City.
The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church opened in at its Alameda de las Pulgas located in 1958. The church holds massees on Saturdays at 5pm, as well as at 7:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am and 5:30pm on Sundays and on weekdays at 8am. About 2,300 families attend the church, which sits in front of the Immaculate Heart of Mary School, a private Roman Catholic school for children in kindergarten through 8th grade.
