History
After finishing his Internal Medicine and GI training from Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dr. Hung served as an asst. Professor there for a few years. After moonlighting in the Upland, Chino, and Rancho Cucamonga area - the doctor came to find a special attachment to this community. Dr. Hung was invited by several of his patients to start his private practice here and was one of the very first to do so. He helped San Antonio Hospital to do the first Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography to remove the stone from the common bile duct, which frequently happened after gall bladder surgery. Dr. Hung was also the first one to help the GI lab to get familiar with the endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement for somebody after experiencing a stroke. In the last 15 to 20 years, Dr. Hung has always been nominated by the Inland Empire Magazine as the top GI doctor of the community. He has served as the GI director of the Hospital several times.
