Founded in 1993, near Denver, Chipotle now has locations across the country. All of the chicken and pork served at the restaurant, as well as most of the beef, is naturally raised. In addition, all dairy products are hormone-free, and a large amount of the beans served are organic. The customer experience at Chipotle is special: the ingredients are displayed in plain view and the kitchen is open. The restaurant in Alameda (opened in early 2009) is clean, modern and stylish and the food is fresh, healthy and enticing.
