The South Oxnard Child Development Center is owned and operated by Child Development Incorporated, which is a private, nonprofit child care agency that serves more than 15,000 children up to the age of 12. The parent organization operates over 150 early care and education centers throughout California. It administers a variety of infant, toddler, preschool and school age programs that are funded by the California Department of Education. Child Development Incorporated works with nearly 35 school districts to provide after-school solutions, including homework assistance and kindergarten readiness programs to families. Founded in 1969, the parent organization also owns and operates Child Development Centers and Continuing Development Incorporated. The South Oxnard Child Development Center is located in Oxnard, Calif.
