CDA provides tuition assistance to income eligible families and operates three state subsidized full-day preschool centers in the South Bay area of San Diego County and an Alternative Payment Program throughout San Diego County. Full cost options are available at most center locations for families paying their own tuition. Child Development Associates is the largest sponsor in the State of California for the Federal USDA Child Care Food Program. This program reimburses child care providers for the nutritious meals they serve to the children in their care. CDA currently sponsors Family Child Care Homes throughout San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties, and a portion of Los Angeles County. Funding is provided through the California Department of Education, Federal Child Care and Development Block Grants, USDA Child Care Food Program and parent tuition Provides free or reduced cost child care in San Diego County. Financial assistance is provided through the California Department of Education and Federal Child Care and Development Block Grant Funds. Child care reimbursement is provided for children from birth through 12 years of age to the child care provider of the parent's choice.
