The Cesar Chavez Plaza, located just down the street from the Lexington on Olive Drive, is a unique housing facility, catering to low-income, downtown workers and individuals with disabilities (physical and mental). All of the units are one bedroom, and there are 52 apartments in all, with 19 of them specifically set up for the disabled. The complex itself is very new, one of the newest in Davis, with an attractive street front facade with patios prominent on many of the units. The complex is supported in large part by the County of Yolo and other nonprofit organizations and operates as a cooperative.
