Since 1959, Central Veterinary Hospital mainly focuses on providing preventive, orthopedic and internal medicine for dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds and reptiles. The hospital provides 24-hour nursing care for all hospitalized and boarding pets. For more than 30 years, the American Animal Hospital Association has accredited Central Veterinary Hospital. It is the only 3,000 hospitals across the United States voluntarily participating in the accreditation program. Based in Fremont, Calif., the hospital additionally provides exercise and preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites.
