Founded in 1990, the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, also known as CARD, provides individualized treatment plans. The center treats children with autism and related disorders. It has more than 15 offices that provide services to over 500 children. The center offers consulting, parent training, external collaboration, assessment and therapy services. The Center for Autism and Related Disorders also operates challenging behavior, feeding and medical facilitation clinics. The center provides comprehensive educational and behavioral programs. It manages the CARD Assessment Center, which serves children and young adults. The center offers classes and seminars that feature ongoing development for families, caregivers, professional educators and clinicians.
