The vererinarians at Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital care for all aspects of an animal's life. From nutrition to surgical procedures, the staff here will literally travel the extra mile to care for clients' pets, making house calls and providing transportation for pets if needed. The Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital partners with the Palo Alto Humane Society to help find homes for cats that would otherwise roam the streets. The cats in the reception area are adoptable. This is a no-kill facility that will accept an animal back if the person who adopted it discovers that the cat does not fit into their life. It is also responsible for the Animal Art Gallery at 520 Santa Cruz Avenue.
