Cathay Palisades serves Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Mandarin and Szechuan selections are available here. The large menu features many popular dishes, as well as Cathay's signature specialties, such as the Cathay Special, a serving of lobster, chicken, barbecue pork, mushrooms, water chestnuts and snow peas in the chef's special sauce.
One section of the menu offers food for health-conscious eating, which means all food is steamed without oil, starch, sugar or salt. Dishes are served a la carte, family style, or customers can choose complete dinners that include soup, fried rice, an egg roll and chicken salad.
