Catalina Island Camps is a kids camp that takes place on Catalina Island with a focus on environmental awareness. The camp has several environmental programs for boys and girls between second and 12th grade. It was established in 1922 and has been run by Mike and Sally Horner since 1973. The Horners are local residents and also operate Tom Sawyer Camps.
The camp's office isn't visible from the street but is easily accessible from the 210 Freeway. Simply exit and head North on Windsor Avenue, then turn right on Woodbury Road. Look for white and gray concrete buildings on the left side after passing North El Sol Avenue. When you enter the driveway, head all the way to the end of the property. You will also notice a fleet of white vans with "Tom Sawyer Camps" written in red on the right side.
