History
Casa Del Sol, Karate-Do was founded in 1960 by Sierra Sensei in Mexico City, on 1976 Belmont Sensei continued growing the school and in 1992 Torres Sensei started his career as an instructor helping his Sensei during all his classes. On 1995 Torres Sensei was in charge of all the students of Casa del Sol in Mexico City until he moved to San Diego on 2007. During 2007 Torres Sensei taught privately, he partnered with National City and since January 2008 has been teaching and training at the Kimball Recreation Center.
Specialties
Consist of two Karate techniques (Shi To Ryu and Sho To Kan), as well as Aikido and Self Defense techniques used by the Japanese police force. The training consists of a technical, physical, and athletic preparation which allows the improvement of combat techniques, acquiring a balance between flexibility, speed, and strength. For men, women, teenagers, and children who want to learn Traditional Karate with a focus on discipline, responsibility, confidence, self-control, and personal awareness.
