HistoryWith the emergence of MBEC, students throughout the region have been able to get the customized support they need and the attention they deserve. MBEC makes it a priority to tailor curriculum, extracurricular activities, and services to the student's individual needs. This includes mental health support, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, and other services. The Center has grown into something bigger simply because the need is bigger. Schools are, as they were when Ms. Tina founded MBEC, not providing the support they are mandated to and are, in many cases, trying to get out of these requirements to save money. Ms. Tina and her team aim to inspire students to take their academics as far as they can and to continue to support them as they achieve their personal goals. Ms. Tina hopes for all students to pass through MBEC to gain enough self-confidence to realize they can go to college and can be successful.SpecialtiesMonterey Bay Educational Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational brokerage house. We offer a range of services, including (but not limited to) one-on-one tutoring, educational counseling, educational testing, and mental health support. We believe every child deserves the best education possible. We are aware of the obstacles that can be an issue for today's families in trying to keep their students motivated in learning and having the skill sets they need for success. To accomplish this, we match the student's learning style with the optimal program and qualified instructors to best ensure academic accomplishment.
