I am a regular customer of Caffe Salute for a good reason, the people, the service and the coffee are all GREAT! If you're in the area of the San Rafael Transit Center you should stop in.

Right beside the bus stop. Good place to scoop a last minute hot coffee and a muffin or just a convenient store snack before you hop on the bus. They also serve espressos if you don't favor drip.
