Romanat serves the authentic Ethiopian/Eritrean food in a welcoming cultural environment in Oakland, CA. since 2011. Owned and operated by a family, Adey and Mebrat both manage, chef, and welcome guests to their restaurant as if it were their home.

We specialize in serving great Ethiopian food in a casual and welcoming environment. Our specialty dishes include our Butticha, Mitten Shiro, and Chicken Doro, among many other wonderful items. We prepare our food fresh daily, and offer vegan and gluten free options. We fan accommodate large groups, and have a unique beer and wine list.
