BUILT came about because Syd wanted to put her own education into practice. She was sick of the corporate gyms that sold processed chemicals and who were more concerned with money than the well being of the client. Syd wanted to use everything she learned to foster a true method for training individuals beyond anything that any gym or local training center could compare to. Syd is a chronic pain specialist who has done extensive research into a variety of body movement practices over her 17 years plus teaching body movement. Syd has an extensive yoga background and has been individually authorized by her instructors to teach Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar/Symmetry, Vinyasa, and gentle practices. In addition Syd has meditation training, Feldenkrais training, strength training, and researches the body and immune disorder treatment on the regular. Get your body healthier, happier, and at peace!
