History
Brunner's Tiny Time Shop was founded in 1946 by Earl C. Brunner Sr., after he relocated from Los Angeles to Barstow, during World War II. The first Tiny Time Shop building was located at 225 East Main Street, Barstow and measured a mere 4 feet wide by 26 feet long. There was only enough space between the two side walls to allow a thin display case along one side. In 1956 Earl Brunner Sr. relocated the family business to a larger building, but still at the same location. The Brunner family comes from a long line of watch makers and jewelers, who originally came to America from Switzerland. During the 1950's, Brunner's Tiny Time Shop started selling trophies and plaques along with the watches, clocks and jewelry. Founder: Earl C. Brunner Sr. Owned the store from 1946 to 1972, when he then past ownership on to his son. Robert A. Brunner owned the Tiny Time Shop from 1972 to present. In 2006, 60 years and three generations later, the shop moved to it's original location.
