History
We work together with the patient's primary care physician and specialists SJGI provides cost-effective treatment tailored to meet each patient's individual needs. We communicate with the patient's personal physician to keep the physician up to date on the treatment plan and patient's progress. All data, including lab results and radiology reports, are sent to the primary care physician as well. For any urgent issues, our physicians directly consult the primary care physician to ensure agreement with the plan of care and to guarantee that it is well-coordinated. We have a close working relationship with tertiary care centers When indicated, our physicians utilize the various subspecialty centers, including the Gastroenterology Division and Liver Transplant Program at Stanford University, University of California - San Francisco (UCSF), and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). This network helps our physicians obtain efficient tertiary care for special situations.
