History
Always growing, always learning to make health and comfort more accessible. I am completely mobile, but I am working out of Fresno State Sports Medicine as well as Fulton Yoga Collective and other venues to meet a variety of people connected to other long time established businesses. I may expand soon and eventually open my own clinic and school.
Specialties
Thai Yoga and Sports Massage. I am the manual therapy care provider for Fresno State Sports Medicine. I work on all the student athletes, particularly those in rehabilitation, in conjunction with the athletic trainers, 3 days a week. More about the Thai work: Nuat Thai Traditional Medical massage or Thai Yoga Therapy is a form of bodywork that utilizes deep stretching, rhythmic compression, traction, joint decompression and mobilization, rocking, acupressure and Thai reflexology. Many of my clients describe it as an eastern physical therapy. This treatment system looks at the whole body and how it's operating to make adjustments physiologically, as well as mentally/emotionally because your mind's health is inextricably linked to your body's health. Energy work is incorporated throughout a typical 90 minute session. The structure of the routine has been sculpted by the official lineage holder of the Buddhai Sawan tradition, Dr. Anthony James. The style is made unique by his Native American influences, and he calls it SomaVeda. For more information about this method go to the thaiyogacenter website. Nutrition, Reflexology, Ayurvedic assessment is also a part of my training as it is essential to whole body health.
