Big Family Movers started with two twenty-something movers from Oakland and a teen-aged truck. Amazingly, 20 years and 6000 jobs later, we're still growing slow and steady and having fun! The name Big Family Movers recognizes and celebrates the connection we all share. The better care we take of each other -- and ourselves -- the farther we progress. The elephants in our logo represent the principals of unity and dignity that we try to embody. Thank you, family, for the opportunity to do work we are proud of.

Big Family Movers specializes in residential and small business moves. We are committed to building and strengthening our community. This means discounts for seniors, non-profits and single-parent-families. Also, job training, respect and decent wages for all of our employees. We are proud to have stayed small, done quality work, and developed strong personal relationships with our customers since 2001. We want to be known as Oakland's BEST Movers!
