We are a boutique Winery located off Highway 46 West in the foothills of the Templeton Gap in the very heart of the Paso Robles wine region in Central California. We invite you to find out more about our Estate Wines, Vineyard, Vacation Rentals and luxurious Bed & Breakfast all located on the Berardo Vineyards in Paso Robles. Our climate is perfect for growing our Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Syrah, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Lagrein grapes and Viognier grapes. The area benefits from the largest swing between high daytime and low nighttime temperatures of any region in California as a result of the cool marine air that flows east through the Templeton Gap. The region's summer is characterized by warm, clear days, generally unencumbered by clouds, fog or severe winds. This diurnal fluctuation is considered a key by winemakers and wine grape growers to attain the intense varietal character displayed in wine grapes from the area. Taste handcrafted estate grown and produced Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Syrah and Viognier. For A. John Berardo, growing grapes and making wine are a celebration of his Italian heritage. He has fond childhood memories of his father and uncles making wine at his grandma's house and storing barrels under his family's home. He hopes to continue the richness of that family tradition with Berardo Vineyards and Winery
