History
Amanda Ihle of the Bay Area Speech Studio has been a practicing speech and language pathologist for several years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She then earned her Masters of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Since earning her degrees, Amanda has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout the United States including: adult acute inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatric rehabilitation, long-term care, public school settings, and in private practice. While greatly appreciating the experiences that each setting provided, Amanda discovered that she saw the most therapeutic gains and had the most fun when working closely with families to provide play-based therapy to pediatrics at their home or school.
