Established in 1944, Barnard Elementary School is a learning center that serves more than 175 students in kindergarten through grade four. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, English, science, computer technology, history, social studies, physical education, music, and language and visual arts. The school provides speech and occupational therapy for students with special needs. It additionally offers breakfast and lunch programs for students. The school maintains a library that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of leisure reading options for students.
