The Balance Center offers classes and instruction focused on learning proper alignment and good posture or, as the staff refers to it, "Being in balance." The training is especially helpful as a natural remedy for many different types of back and joint pain. Participants learn to stand, bend, sit, lift, walk, and rest in comfort. A series of yoga classes, with the emphasis on precise, balanced alignment and relaxation is also offered. Founder Jean Couch is a well-known yoga instructor who has been practicing since 1970 and is the author of "The Runner's Yoga Book".
