Milton Bade, the founder of the business, started building homes in the 1960's. His wife, Pat, has been actively involved in the business for the past several years. His son, Chris, started in the building business as soon as he could swing a hammer and developed homes for over thirty years. His daughter, Susan Bade Hull, an attorney, is particularly helpful in managing the business. The company's superintendent, Jim Taylor, has over thirty years experience in building and has been with Bade Construction for over 22 years. Bade Construction is financially sound and employs a certified public accountant as well as office staff. We are successfully carrying on the family business, as well as carrying on the legacies of Milton and Chris. Collectively, Bade Construction's employees have over 57 years experience in the construction and development business. Susan Bade Hull Susan Bade Hull is the President and serves on the Board of Directors. Susan is primarily responsible for operating the business. Her responsibilities include acquisitions, sales, client relations, JV partners, capital funds financing, project development and planning, contracts, insurance and staff. Susan has been with the Company since January 1999. Susan received her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College in 1985 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School ( Los Angeles ) in 1990. Jim Taylor is Vice President of the Company. Jim is responsible for field operations and construction. He is involved in project development and planning, retention of subcontractors, land acquisition and sales and client relations. He has thirty years experience in building and has been with the Company for 22 years. Patricia A. Bade Patricia A. Bade has been actively involved in the business for the past 15 years and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary. Cassandra Contreras is the bookkeeper and a certified public accountant. She has been with the Company for 15 years. Cassie received her B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles in 1986. Marcella Galeazzi is the office administrator. Prior to joining the Company in 2005, she was a legal assistant in downtown Los Angeles for 20 years. In addition to her administrative work, Marcy manages and keeps track of insurance certificates for all subcontractors and tenants. Scott Bade Scott Bade is the accounts payable clerk and is involved in the retention of subcontractors. He has a Certificate of Completion in Construction from Pasadena City College. He has been with the Company since 1997.
