Audio Doctor started a few months after Pacific Stereo went out of business in 1986. As the service manager at the downtown Pacific Stereo, I took the opportunity to blend the services provided by this large chain with my personal, local style to create the only factory authorized audio service business on the central coast. After many years on Marsh St. in the downtown zone, I moved to my current S. Higuera location where access and parking are much easier.

We specialize in service and repair of stereo equipment and systems. Receivers, amps, preamps, tuners, CD players, turntables, speakers and other good quality audio gear are some of the items we can help repair or bring back to life!
