David brings 28 years experience performing chemical and biological analyses. He has been an adjunct Instructor at Harnell Community College, and was a principal analyst for the Monterey County Public Health Laboratory for 12 years prior to starting MBAS. He is certified by the California Dept. of Health as a Public Health Microbiologist (1810), Licensed Water Distribution Grade 1, Water treatment Operator Grade 2, and AWWA Water Quality Analyst Grade IV. David evaluates and implements laboratory methods, provides technical consultation to public water systems. He is the laboratory's Chemical Hygiene and Safety Officer. He performs inorganic and microbiological analyses, as well as develops, organizes, administers, and controls MBAS laboratory operations including reporting, accounting, LIMS management and analysis. Mason has been involved with Monterey Bay Analytical Services since its inception in 1999, and is currently working full time in all of our administrative duties. He has experience with the laboratory processes and regulatory needs to ensure the best quality to our clients.
