The Associated Press is a news organization that serves daily newspaper, radio, television and online customers with coverage in all media and news in all formats. It serves as a source of news, photos, graphics, audio and video for more than one billion people each day. It supplies news to its domestic members, international subscribers and commercial customers. It owns a digital photo network, online news service, a television news service and a radio network. It also has a commercial digital photo archive, which is a photo library housing more than 10 million images and also provides advertising management services. The Associated Press has received more than 40 Pulitzer Prizes and over 30 photo Pulitzers. Founded in 1846, it has a location in Los Angeles.
