Arno J. Mundt, MD, FACRO, FASTRO is a highly respected radiation oncologist specializing in gynecologic and prostate cancers. As the founding chair of the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine and senior deputy director of UC San Diego Health's Moores Cancer Center, Dr. Mundt is internationally recognized for his contributions to developing new radiation techniques to improve cancer treatment.
With expertise in image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Dr. Mundt has received numerous awards for his patient care and has authored over 180 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
