With more than 1,300 locations on the West Coast, ARCO has been providing cars with gasoline since the early 1970s. Offering premium, select and regular gas as well as diesel, and most facilities have a convenience store on-site that sells snack food like chips, crackers, cookies, candy, gum, soda, water and more. Owned by BP Oil, ARCO does not accept credit card payments, but only cash and debit cards, and its patented PayQuick system allows customers to pay for gas with cash at the pump. Water and air is on-site for pumping tires and cooling engines, and tools to clean one's car windows are available free of charge.
