The New Hope Crisis Counseling Center is one of the oldest 24-hour suicide prevention and telephone counseling facility in the United States. The center has been serving customers since 1968. It has a staff of more than 350 Christian volunteer counselors that provide telephone-based counseling services. The New Hope Crisis Counseling Center makes over 160 each day and serves nearly 42,000 people each year. It offers counseling related to active listening, crisis intervention and prayers. The center serves individuals suffering from depression and anxiety, as well as people facing addiction, relationship and spiritual problems. It also conducts crisis counseling service in private chat rooms on the Internet. The New Hope Crisis Counseling Center is sponsored by the Crystal Cathedral Ministries.
