American River Montessori opened on June 1, 2007. This Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten is in a newly-built environment with a large outdoor setting located in Historic Old Town Folsom.
Specialties
Montessori Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten provided in classes with a student-to-teacher ratio of 5:1 or less. Includes Garden of Learning, Music Together program and yoga. Optional Spanish classes weekly. Morning, early afternoon, and dual sessions available. Clean environment with large outdoor play area located in the Folsom Historic District. Language arts and math tutoring for students through 6th Grade offered afternoons and Saturdays. Summer academic camps for Pre-K through 8th Grade.
