Adult Day Services of Orange County is a licensed, private, nonprofit center that has been in operations for more than 25 years. The organization offers day programs to meet the needs of persons in the early to the late stages of dementia. The center's New Connections Club offers structured therapies and recreational outings for persons in the early stage of dementia. In the onsite Social Program, those with moderate to severe dementia receive supervision and assistance. In the Adult Day Health Care Program, participants whose condition is complicated by dementia receive a full range of professional services including nursing care and rehabilitative therapies. The organization has partnered with two institutions - the Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia at the University of California, Irvine, and Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. It is based in Huntington Beach, Calif.
