Alvarado Test Only Center is just that, a test-only, smog check center located on the north end of Alvarado Street. It offers free emissions tests to make sure you can pass DMV regulations for vehicle registration. If your vehicle passes the test, you pay, but if you don't , you don't pay until you do pass.
