Serving the Laguna Hills community since 1978, Allied American University is a fully accredited institution of learning. Unlike the traditional college and university application process, the only qualifying academics necessary for acceptance to AAU is a high school diploma or a GED. There are no application fees, resumes, letters of interest or entrance examinations required. The school offers both associate degree and bachelor's degree programs and is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE #24255659). It is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council, a nationally recognized U.S. Department of Education accrediting agency.
