Alcala Pet Care is a dog and cat boarding facility located in Encinitas. It charges by the calendar day; that is, if you drop your pet off on Tuesday and pick up on Thursday, you will be charged for two days, plus one bath for the return home. A large yard and run is available for exercise as well as temperature controlled sleeping areas for the overnight. Cats stay in a completely separate area from dogs, lovingly named the Kitty Ritz Hotel. Grooming is also offered for both dogs and cats with medicated shampoo and conditioner available when needed.
