Aging Parents is a combined nurse-lawyer practice that provides services and resources to those who are caring for aging loved ones. Frequent issues involve questions about dementia and loss of decision-making ability, difficulty handling money, potential elder abuse, solving family conflicts, disputes over estates, determining the safest arrangement for an elder to live, providing community resources (both health-related and in social services for elders), developing legal documents for families, caregiver issues, disputes with care facilities, assessing mental capacity of elders suspected of having limitations in their function, driving issues and end of life planning.
