Amanecer Community Counseling Services is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care services. Established in 1975, it serves more than 1,500 low-income homeless children, adults and families in Los Angeles. The organization maintains a work force of 100 employees. Amanecer Community Counseling Services offers several school-based solutions, such as case management, crisis intervention and family therapy services for students between the ages of 5 and18.
