AE Biofuels specializes in the production of renewable fuels, including ethanol and biodiesel plants. The company was incorporated as Marwich II under the laws of the state of Colorado in 1983. Its cellulosic ethanol technology enables the production of biofuels from nonfood and traditional feedstock. AE Biofuels subsidiary in India, Universal Biofuels, maintains a manufacturing facility that produces more than 50 million gallons of biodiesel and glycerin byproducts every year. The company also operates Sutton Ethanol, which provides over 110 million gallons of ethanol per year. It additionally manages Danville Ethanol in Illinois. AE Biofuels works in partnerships with various biodiesel and ethanol process engineering and construction firms.
